Easy Crockpot Honey Garlic Chicken
This one is easy and a true crowd favorite! This is what we’ll be having tonight at our house 😍
Ingredients
Method
- Add the chicken to your slow cooker.
- Make the sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and black pepper.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken, making sure the chicken is well coated.
- Cook: Cover and cook on LOW for 3–4 hours, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Remove and slice: Transfer the chicken to a cutting board and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Thicken the sauce (optional): Pour the cooking liquid into a small saucepan. Mix the cornstarch and water together to create a slurry. Whisk it into the sauce and simmer for 2–3 minutes, until thickened and glossy.
- Serve: Slice the chicken and spoon the honey garlic sauce over the top. Serve with rice and steamed broccoli, then garnish with green onions and sesame seeds
